What is Call Me Tones (CMT)?

Call Me Tones (CMT) is a service that personalises the audio that callers hear before a call is being answered replacing the traditional “toot-toot”. CMT is a service exclusively for all Celcom prepaid and postpaid customers.

How do I subscribe to CMT service?

Via CMT new portal

  • Step 1 > Visit cmt.celcom.com.my
  • Step 2 > Login with Celcom Number and OTP
  • Step 3 > Browse for your favorite songs
  • Step 4 > Click on “Cart” icon
  • Step 5 > Purchase song as Ala Carte or Bundle
  • Step 6 > A SMS confirmation will be sent upon successful subscription

Via USSD

  • Step 1 > Dial *323#
  • Step 2 > Search for your favorite songs
  • Step 3 > Subscribe to your favorite song
  • Step 4> A SMS confirmation will be sent upon successful subscription

Via SMS

  • Step 1 > Send CMT <CMT Code> to 22990 for Ala Carte song download
  • Step 2 > A SMS confirmation will be sent upon subscription/download
What is Bundle?

A Bundle is our newly introduced Call Me Tone package. Customer only needs to pay RM1.50 per week to get 3 songs in 1 Bundle. Songs will be played randomly.

What is FOC AlaCarte?

FOC AlaCarte is a complementary Ala Carte Call Me Tone offered to Celcom subscribers based on campaign offering.

What is FOC Bundle?

FOC Bundle is a complementary Bundle Call Me Tone with 3 songs in a pack offered to all Celcom subscribers based on campaign offering.

Free 14 days Call Me Tones (CMT)

  1. A free 14-days trial period on Call Me Tones (CMT) will automatically provision upon activation of new XPAX starter pack (“Free trial”).
  2. Upon expiry of the Free Trial, the standard price of RM 0.75 per week shall apply.
  3. On the 6th and 12th days of the Free Trial, the Customer will receive an SMS reminder from Celcom notifying the Customer the option to opt-out from the service (“Opt-out”). To avoid being charged with standard price, Customers can Opt-Out from the service before the Free Trial ends.
  4. The Customer may Opt-out from the service by the following method;
    1. Send SMS STOP or STOP ALL to short code 22990; or
    2. Access USSD channel *323#or *118#; or
    3. Access and manage CMT subscription at cmt.celcom.com.my.

How much will I be charged for the subscription?

Ala Carte

The subscription fee is at RM0.75 per week.

However, different charges may apply to selected songs on a promotional basis.

Bundle

The subscription fee is at RM1.50 per week.

However, different charges may apply to selected Bundles on a promotional basis.

FOC AlaCarte

The subscription fee is at RM0.00 for X days (based on campaign offering) follow by RM0.75 renewal fees for subsequent week.

However, different charges may apply to selected FOC Ala Carte on a promotional basis.

FOC Bundle

The subscription fee is at RM0.00 for X days (based on campaign offering) follow by RM1.50 renewal fees for subsequent week.

However, different charges may apply to selected FOC Bundle on a promotional basis.

How do I subscribe for CMT Ala Carte song?

Via CMT new portal

  • Step 1 > Visit cmt.celcom.com.my
  • Step 2 > Login with Celcom Number and OTP
  • Step 3 > Navigate for more exciting songs and offers
  • Step 4 > Click for download
  • Step 5 > A SMS confirmation will be sent upon subscription.

Via USSD

  • Step 1 > Dial *323#
  • Step 2 > Select any of the exciting offers from the USSD Menu.
  • Step 3 > Select Subscribe for download.
  • Step 4 > A SMS confirmation will be sent upon subscription.

Via SMS

  • Step 1 > Dial 22990
  • Step 2 > Send CMT <CMT Code> to 22990 for Ala Carte song download.
  • Step 3 > A SMS confirmation will be sent upon subscription.
How do I subscribe for Bundle?

  • Step 3 > Navigate for more exciting songs and offers
  • Step 4 > Click for download

I am a Prepaid user and my balance is insufficient, will I still be able to subscribe to the CMT service?

Yes, you may still subscribe to Call Me Tones. Do visit the CMT portal cmt.celcom.com.my with other lower prices offering.

Can I move the CMT subscription on my current phone to a new mobile phone?

Yes. CMT service is attached to your phone number, not to your mobile phone.

Is there a limit to the number of CMT I can have on my account?

Yes. There is a limit of 20 songs you can have on your account.

What will happen if I’ve reached total CMT limit in my account?

You will not be able to purchase any Ala Carte CMT or Bundle.

What can I do if I’ve reached total CMT limit and still want to purchase Ala Carte CMT or Bundle?

You can unsubscribe some songs from your account to be able to add the desired song, follow by purchasing the Ala Carte or Bundle.

Will Call Me Tone be charged during free trial?

No. The Call Me Tone service is free.

Will my Call Me Tones be renewed automatically?

Yes. All Call Me Tones will be renewed automatically on weekly basis.

Will I get any reminder for the renewal?

Yes. You will receive SMS reminders prior to the renewal date.

Will I be charged for the reminder SMS?

No. The SMS is free.

Can I terminate my Call Me Tone service during free trial?

Yes. You may terminate via USSD *323*7*4# or login to cmt.celcom.com.my to manage your CMT.

How can I unsubscribe from the service?

Via Website

You can manage your Call Me Tones via our new Celcom CMT website. Login and go to Manage CMT page, click on “Manage >” then Unsubscribe.

Via USSD

You can delete the subscription for the service by dialing *323# by selecting the option to unsubscribe in the subscription menu.

Via SMS

You can delete the CMT Subscription by sending STOP CMT or DELETE <CMT Code> or STOP to 22990. To Unsubscribe all CMT Service/Contents, you may send STOP ALL to 22990.

Via Celcom Customer Service

You can delete the subscription for the service by contacting Celcom customer service 1111.

Can I still use my CMT if I unsubscribe from the service?

No, once you unsubscribe from the service all contents will be deleted from the system.

How do I manage my CMT?

Via Website

You can manage your Call Me Tones via our new Celcom CMT website cmt.celcom.com.my. Login and go to Manage CMT from the main menu.

Via USSD

CMT settings can be managed by dialing *323# and select 7. Manage CMT.

Who is eligible for the service?

All Celcom existing and new prepaid/postpaid customers.
